Sassafrass
I like to talk. I like to write. I like making friends. Wow, blogging is the thing for me.
I love discussing all the things you’re not supposed to talk about in public, particularly in the South. In case you are not a properly raised young lady from the South… You are never to discuss, in public:
- Politics
- Sex
- Religion
- Money
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that virtually everything I discuss here is somehow related to those. Let me think… Yes! Except… There’s a fourth category, not forbidden by etiqutte: my daily life.
I love Jesus, Bobby Kennedy, James Taylor, the South, food, friends, and your mom. (Just kidding. Sorry. She’s probably really cool.)
Questions? Just ask.
They call me McSassy.
Can you McMatch me?

Hi McSassy!
I love your blog.In fact, I owe you some thanks for giving me a little nugget to use in my sermon yesterday. I have read in your blog that you are exploring a call to ministry. I must encourage you….explore on, sister! I have no doubt that you are called, but you must figure out exactly to what kind of ministry. I already know you can preach!
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me prepare for yesterday. The post I was inspired by was your post on having attended Jubilee and what you preached in chapel after you returned. Good stuff!
Blessings for your journey,
Carolyn
